Hurry! Hurry!

Seems I'm always in a hurry these days. Always something to be done or checked on or putting something new on the to-do list. Yet, when I'm doing nothing I'm not satisfied. I'm always looking for something to do. Does that just sound like human nature? Seems like I can't wait for one season to get here and then in the midst of it I'm already thinking and longing for the next. Well, I have to say that I just really love the fall. I don't see us into the fall yet here in the deep south of Louisiana. The leaves haven't really begun to fall yet and our grass is still very green and growing. We have had a lot of rain in the past few days so our mower will be humming for a while to come.

The pictures are from a gathering of friends out at Greensburg, LA the other night. The Glory Riders came to town for the Angola Rodeo and had made their landing at a friend's home to spend a few days. This group of riders traveled 11 hours in the rain pulling two very large trailers loaded with beautiful white horses to get here. They will be presenting the Gospel on horseback at the opening of each rodeo. Amazing !

I don't put many pictures of me on my post so this is rare. That is me in the jean jacket and pink shirt, playing my Mountain Dulcimer along with Deb. We enjoy playing Gospel music and as you can see we have a few friends listening and singing along. Oh, that's Justin playing the upright bass, Deb's husband.
Husband and I are getting ready to take off with Sunday School friends for a week in the mountains. So, I'll be gone Tuesday for a couple of weeks. It will be a great time and I'm looking forward to it.
Thanks for stopping by my little blogspot :)
If it weren't for the Lord I'd be an empty vessel.
